STEP Grants fund innovative planetary science and technology projects aligned with exploring worlds, finding life, or defending Earth. Funding may support stand-alone projects or components of larger efforts, including research, technology development, hardware, or public-facing science initiatives. Projects are selected through a competitive proposal process supported by Planetary Society members and donors.
