This emergency fund supports small businesses experiencing extraordinary hardship due to recent ICE activity across MN, with particular emphasis on impacts connected to Operation Metro Surge (starting Dec 15, 2025). Priority uses include commercial lease/mortgage, payroll, and business-related debt. The request amount is a one-time emergency grant with a maximum request of $10,000, and awards may be less than requested depending on eligibility, completeness, and limited funding availability.
